i was wandering where most of the people get their cars and other vehicles from? is it some disc that u boaught or just some site that u download them?

I also bought the sugar 3d cars and have had great results. The best thing is that most of the cars have the body seperate so you can change the color. They have both vray and scanline models for one price.

i don't know how sugar's cars are put together, but with Vray you will want a car whose glass has a physical dimension to it. 2d geometry does not render well for glass in Vray, even with refraction set to 1. you can try to add a shell modifier tot he glass, but sometimes it is not simple that simple, depending on how the geometry is modeled. at least this has been my experience using Dosch and Vray.

Hey guys..
Just stumbled across this thread.. Looking at sugar3d stuff.. cars look good, but as Travis says, how does the glass workout in vray with the standard downloaded models from these guys..? i downloaded a demo car, but it was all in Max Standard materials? Just wondered as I need some fast results for a project.. Cheers
