Default bump not visible in side elevation

HI

i am trying to render an image with vray
I am using a bump map for showing vinyl siding on the walls
The siding is coming okay in the walls at the front but the bump is not visible at all on the side elevations which are visible in the perspective. i tried reducing the blur value of the texture also but that didnt help

Please see the image and help me out

why is it not visible which is not facing the sun and also in perspective

Thanks

A bump map doesn't actually do anything to the geometry of the walls so as your view becomes parallel with the surface, the bump map becomes invisible. You could use displacement, model the seams with geometry or create a diffuse map that has some of the information.

You need to make it geometry. A bump map just simulates shadows and speculars. You could copy the bump map into a vraydisplacement modifier fine I think, just play with the settings.
