Hello
We always listen about the memory ram or the video card, with 3d studio max is better have more ram or more video, in your opinion what is better. |

both :-) ,for rendering...RAM, for actual showing 3d model,textures,shaders...video RAM /but RAM too/

Video card is only for the viewport display. If you want that to run faster, you should know that the performance is roughly equal parts CPU (the per-core speed, not the total speed) and video card. RAM is more important for rendering.
