Recently completed images for the proposed development on the site of the fire in Edinburgh's old town which happened a few years back. Client was keen to show certain views of the development which is mixed use but mainly hotel and bar/restauraunt.
Usual C+C Welcome

I think these images look great! However, I did notice that the railings on the stairs to the left in the 2nd image seem to stand out a little bit too much.

hehe...great work
love when people take care of giving their rendes "atmosphere" by filling up all the visualisation with "dailiy rushy live" detalies like casual people, cars, bikes, signs, buildings around, etc, etc. awesome texturing, ligthning and reflections...tho dunno how much is 3D btw. is your people also 3D? my only critic: last pic, the building at th end of the road, made out of glass?...it reflects so mush that looks out of place. grats EDIT: opps, after watching again, I think it is mainly real pics with the 3D buildings included...nah...great work anyways Last edited by Eric Sosa; October 2nd, 2008 at 12:24 AM. |

Oddly, I used to work the door of a club that was there. I still claim that the fire was nothing to do with me. It wasn't. Honest. Quote:
Thanks again all.

Nice stuff Andy.
Although I think the flare on the street lamp is a bit much, I really like the feel of the first one-it has a Winter warmth thing going on that they try so hard to achieve in Christmas cards. You didn't even have to resort to snowflakes or kids in scarves
