Hi Catherine and welcome.

Here are some random observations:
* the centre area looks a little blown out (over exposed)
* I like that one of the boxes is slightly turned
* It looks like you have a PLANE uvwmap on the rug - try BOX
* Loving the shadows from the blinds, as they cascade over the wall and spill down the wall thingy
* nice couch - not floating
* i like the design of the room - did you do it yourself?
* looks like a little bit of noise in the light splash on the left hand side of the render
* good stuff! Keep posting more...

Hi thanks for the tips, i did notice some of those problems when i did it, this is the first render so will change it. I found a picture of this room on the net and designed it around that, just changed the furniture really.
