Default Animation Project - ARROW

Some stills from big animation project. We had tight constraint - one frame might be rendered on one node less than 6 minutes in hi-res. So there isn't enough reflections and special effects we would like to apply.

Very nice shots..!!

I am struggling & learning with this days for this kind of output in animation..

Especially with trees .. You have placed tree models, but when I use it, it takes lot of time to render one frame.. how do you mange it. Any special settings ? How much should be the average time for this.. What have you used for background trees..?? what is the config. of the your rendering system..?

Want to know about water..How you did it & what is the best to animate it.

Also, What is the settings for the glasses..? very nice reflections..Have you used HDR image.?

Its too many things I have asked..sorry for it.. but It would be very great If you share these with us...

Thanx in advance..

To crack a problem with trees kill ALL trees from your scene, merge 1 tree of each type, convert each tree to VRay Proxy object, and clone these Proxies. Scene will be rendered much faster.

I think problem is in opacity maps on each leaf and in great polygon number. Glass is simple - 60% reflect, 42% refract, without any HDR. But you must check all settings in your scene yourself I think, because glass that looks great in one scene will look terrible in another scene.
Water material has faloff on reflect/refract parameters and noise as bump.
