Good idea!

The trees don't look in scale for the size of the branches and trunks they appear to be planted to low to the ground. I also think the wall texture needs work. The grass looks good.

EasySite is a fairly straightforward tool to learn since it's an AutoCAD plug-in. It does take practice to master and it helps if you are accustomed to doing alot of terrain-modeling.

The grass is created with Advanced Painter and converted to a proxy. The proxies are then distributed using Forest Pro 3.

All of the foreground trees are existing elms and oaks on the site. I believe I have a table listing their trunk diameters and height as well. I am not satisfied with the leaf density of the oaks, but that is what Onyx spit out at 3:00 am, so I just went with it.

The walls are 3'x3'x3' gabians created with V-Ray displacement (the formed concrete pilot channels are also using displacement). I thought the scale of the stones were a bit small, but I will have to look at some reference photos.

Glad you like the grass. I have done alot of experimentation using V-Ray displacement and V-Ray Hair/Fur, but the best results have come from creating 3D geometry with Advanced Painter and distributing proxies with Forest Pro 3.

My only little nit pick has to do with the fence. It seems like the pickets read pretty flat.

That grass is beautiful. I've told everyone that I know.

I hate the fence! It has chamfered edges all over it, but they are only being picked up on the top at the far right. I am going to rectify this on the final rendering.

I appreciate the comment regarding the grass. All of my projects involve grass and I have been hell-bent on getting it to look lush and natural.

yep grass looks excellent, maybe a tad more specular but thats nitpicking.
trees need more leaves to compete with the lushness of the grass!
