Hi sanzpont,
Nice Work! Your images look very convincing. Specially the water and the glass caught my attention. Is Brazil 1.0 that slow for exteriors? It´s quality is great but the rendertimes...Did you add the grain in post or is it due to the settings? Btw, congratulations for the 1st place on the contest. |

Thanks... Some of the grain is from render... and some other is from post, to match the background..
render time is so high cause the 3 bounces and min 0 max 0... I didn't bother this time for this cause i let them run overnight... and it was just a test... |

really nice, the renders have a nice feeling to them. just one small problem, in the second picture there are some trees reflected in the water, but there aren't any trees around. that's all

Good work, nice and real touch, lover the grain...
What I remember from seeing the replica in real life is that the columns should be a bit slimmer... rgds nisus

Hello everyone:
Neutra studios is working right now in an official short movie about the work and life of Mies van der Rohe and the Barcelona Pavillion, www.miesbcn.com with all the proper legal rights of the Mies van der Rohe fundation. This work is right now in an early process. I'm showing to you 2 sketches of the promotional poster rendered in Jackie www.jackie3d.org (David Rigel creator and developer) and 2 ilumination/textures test rendered with Arnold www.3dluvr.com/marcosss (Marcos Fajardo creator and developer) The model was created from original 2D drawings and the textures are the results of 2 days of work, taken physically in the pavillion, taking photographs of the marble piece by piece. The fotographic report was done by Daniel Montes www.elsenyorcargol.com. These two images were taken simply as tests, they are not final; we still need to improve de AA, environment, sky, trees, realistic water... Those images were showed to sanzpont, with the purpose ok making his own version, with and excellent results, doing a great job. Model/Ilumination/Textured/poster design by Gabriel Serrano Cheers.
