An interesting website with renderings of the design proposals for the new Olympic Stadium of Beijing (China). The 2008 Olympics will be held there, and the Beijing Urban Planning Comission is to choose the design for the main stadium. Worth checking out!

Wow! Thank you for the pointer.

I like B01 a lot, but for me, it's B11 all the way!

It looks like some of the renderers ran a bit short of time, doesn't it? Some great rendering work none-the-less!

Well I grew up watching the 'Jetson's', so I am kind of partial to B02! LOL It is interesting to see what cultural factors effect the design and forms.

I really like B08, esthectically. Design wise I like the idea of two separate spaces inserted under a common roof - very Corbusian. Anyways, all those physical models are great!
