Default Any inspiring video editors out there?

Hey guys,

This is a long shot, but I'm looking for somone who is willing to volunteer time to put together the video reel for the 3Dawards at SIGGRAPH. I'd do it myself, but I have no video editing equipement or DVD encoding software.
What I need to do for the awards presentation is put together a kick ass reel. You know the kind they do for the MTV music awards, the Oscars etc. I’m thinking big, but best case scenario I’d want:

- An intro teaser clip to start the ceremony off with animation and still clips of the best entries.
- A bumper clip for both the stills and animation category with short preview clips of the nominees
- Once the winner is announced the winner will accept the award in person or I’d play a video acceptance speech and then play the full clip
- A ending clip with the corporate sponsors logos and some cool clips etc to end the ceremony.

I know this is probably waay overly ambitious, but you can't blame me for trying. If anyone is intersted what I can offer is me peronally plugging the hell out of you/your company at the Event and your name in the credits for 150+ people to see.

Default Re: Any inspiring video editors out there?

depending on the type of footage and what you'd really like to achieve i'd throw my hat in the ring
probably 75% of my content these days is video realtime based but i'm fustrated by clients playing safe with cross fades - cut toblack
(i have afx installed and have yet to run it on a commercial project in 8 months)
sort of thing i'd like to be doing in video is the closing credits on mountain bike ride guide show that comes out from your part of the world
sound fx/trax maybe to taste.............i run from classical to fear factory to roni size to eno..................
so i s'pose i'm throwing my hat in depending on the amount of work involved
