Default shadow parmeters

i have problomes with shadows with vray.
anyone can help how do i get soft shadows like with skylight?

i attached 2 images 1 with skylight and another one with vray.

go to v-ray environment n turn on override max's..

ply with the multiplier n color ..

try this one........i dont know much bout v-ray.. but i think this ll help u.....
im not sure this way is best or better...

well if you are talking about the shadow being dark ...you can play with the color mapping ( linear ...increase dark multiplier ) or
you can move the secondary bounces a little bit more

well im tallking about the good shadow resolt you get when you put skylight
you can see the image have depth betwen objects.

strange ....can u show more settings like what light you are using and other parameters ...
