Problem while opening 3D max file into Cinema 4D

Hi,

I am trying to open 3d Max file in cinema 4D.
But while doiong so, the light settings done in max are lost.
Even some of the Objects gets displaced.
Can any one suggest on how we can over some this problem.

what file format are you transfering with?

well c4d wont accept max files

use the .3DS format.
