autocad to 3ds max

hi there another question for yas

just finished some plans and elevations for a concept building in autocad want to fetch them across to either c4d or 3ds max seamed to be struggling a bit, i exported as a bitmap thinking i could add to a plane as a texture didnt have much look, just came over as a black page.

any news on how this is done would be appreciated

For MAX, in the command panel, under UTILITIES, use the file link manager. It is pretty straight forward. Hope that helps.

you want to export 2d acad drawings as a flat texture?
