I am an IT guy so I know very little about Viz. I am attempting to help a friend (Architect) create her first Viz walkthrough. Our machine is a single CPU P4 2.6Ghz with 1.5Gb of RAM, dual hard drives one with operating systems and one with virtual memory(serial ATA) and a Nvidia quadro FX500 video card. I would really like to find a small project someone has created, rendered, and has an elapse render times so we can tell if the machine is fast enough or if our drawing isn’t optimized. Also if anyone has any links to any beginner web pages they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time |

Try the viz tutorials, they have some good stuff for beginers, they also have a walkthrough and animation tutorial.
