Hello peeps,
Im after a sort of "old brick" texture like the walls on this building: I would go out to site to take photos but the building fell down LOL Could any of you guys point me in the direction of a good quility texture similar to these bricks, preferably tileable? It has to be of a decent quality so I can use displacement Thanks Craig

hey craig
if you log into the the discreet 3dmax forums there is a link there for a new addon to the darktree thats adds in some xtra functions http://support.discreet.com/webboard...~3dsmax/guests however one job i did earlier this year called on a similar sort material -----random stone with joints..... i made a handdrawn bitmap for the joints, added in more more colour to bitmap for variations of density and added to a blend material of mutilayer noise mapps all in to produce a bitmap for a wall around 30sq m it took around a hour and you could not see the joins.............. it's quite easy to get random brick or pebble type effects but i've found that the area between (random stone blocks) means it's get the pen and paper out.............go on you know you want to
