Probably a 'How long is a piece of string' question, but as I don't know many people in this area it would be good if I could get some feedback.
Basically i'm looking at hopefully hunting down a couple of freelance visualization projects and was wondering what I should be charging. I am obviously am not after details of what forum members charge their customers, but some kind of indication would be nice as I am very much in the dark. Starting out so first few projects so will be cheaper, but about roughly say for a two week project? Hope Im not breaking the rules asking this sort of stuff! If so please dont answer |

Here is one article on setting an hourly rate and here's another by David Wright.
Also, look at the Graphic Artist's Guild handbook. These are good places to start. Jack
