Probably a 'How long is a piece of string' question, but as I don't know many people in this area it would be good if I could get some feedback.

Basically i'm looking at hopefully hunting down a couple of freelance visualization projects and was wondering what I should be charging.

I am obviously am not after details of what forum members charge their customers, but some kind of indication would be nice as I am very much in the dark.

Starting out so first few projects so will be cheaper, but about roughly say for a two week project?

Hope Im not breaking the rules asking this sort of stuff! If so please dont answer

Here is one article on setting an hourly rate and here's another by David Wright.

Also, look at the Graphic Artist's Guild handbook.

These are good places to start.
