Question cartoonish renderings

Just wondering if anyone has done a cartoonish renderings using like finaltoon or anything similar. I have a couple of clients that are looking for that type of look, almost making it look more like a marker rendering.. Would that be considered NPR?

Thanks,

Mike

Yes, Mike, it is NPR (non-photorealistic rendering).

Here is one I did a while back which is straight out of SketchUp (extend lines, profile, and jiggle lines) and then run through just a couple simple filters (invert, colorize, and texturize) in Adobe. You can do quite a bit right in SU without having to resort to filters in Adobe. However, there is no squiggle in SU, but that can be done in Adobe with the distort filter.
