What size do most people render to when putting the video on DVD?

Does anyone have preferred programs that they use?

Thanks.

At Smoothe we render mostly at PAL (768 x 576) resolution and now that I'm on board NTSC (720 x 486)

I think you will find that most people render to these resolution for DVD as those are the standards. The other option is 16:9 widescreen.

I personally have not done any DVD authoring yet, but Smoothe London/Manchester uses DVD Studio Pro I believe. For whatever reason they opted to buy a mac just for authoring.

Hello

Yes, Jeff is correct for the resolution.

Jeff: We are using a MAC for Authoring only too.
You can believe me, its much better to work with... than with a PC.
But we are doing all preprocessing on a PC
