read this thread - its the first one I´ve seen where the CG-artists people talk specifically about pricing.

SORRY TAHT POST WAS TOO LONG FOR A DOUBLE LANGUAGE AND THAT GUY IS FRENCH.....

Talking

hello french guy ....

Bonne chance

Question

Situation :
After a phone call from the Architect, the meeting.
All was going well, one shot from the interior of a shop(modeling and rendering; photoshoping x12), and then, he asked me to estimate a price for it !!
I sat back, thought of how many days, multiply by ###€, and the value will be around %$#&€. (Is it bad to talk about real numbers here ??)
After i said the round value, the usual minute of silence... i asked if it was too much.. and he said no ! but i'm still not sure about it...

My Question:
Is it possible for you guys, to tell the prices you practice ?? is it the great tabu of the profession ??
For me, it's my very first solo client, and i have till monday to setle dawn bid(?devi?).
Any help for this is apretiated !

(I'm in the lost ouest of france)
