Default Wong Kum Fei - Final

I'm not sure if this simple composition is able to engage the viewer in anyway after seeing all the brilliant works of the other competitors. Good luck to myself and the rest.

So close! Overall, you have a wonderful color balance. It all works together in color, saturation and brightness.

The composition is the problem. You did a great job, but it could be better. If the point is the 'square' then why tip the camera away from a pure frontal view of the window? If you see it straight=on it is square(ish), now it is a trapaziod. OK, we all know its square in shape, but graphically it isn't. Then, notice how we have a square in the curved wall, squares in the far wall and an opening to the background that is...what? Waht is it? If the camera is a little left you can catch the far edge of the opening and get that shape defined.

Then there are the non-square elements that keep the piece dynamic.

If the far wall is seen in shade perhaps it should be a bit darker.

All the pieces are there, the lighting and textures are well done, but the composition needs some more thought. I’d like to see more detail in the world out the window.

I can say just the same - all is there but composition is not good at all. And again I can't feel the scale.

The picture frame is a good idea. It seems weirdly cropped at the top. I like the fact that it starts to have a certain signature, suggest looking at the work of Di Chirico.
