This is a really pulled-together piece. There colors are bright but not too bright, the view is dynamic, the lighting exciting. I like how you challenge the solidity of the whole thing with the cracks of light under the metal projections. Seeing not one but two openings is enough to sell the point that they continue up the tower. The whole picture is about solid vs open.
The part that doesn't work as well is the background. Because of the maps I don't get that same sense of solid/open. They look flat and surface-only. The texture on the gray stone is a little too noticeable for me, I'ld tone it down and let the shapes carry things more. |

The camera angle works well for this image. Usually the “looking up the skyscraper” shot can be a little too much vertigo for the viewer. In general I like the lighting and the colors, I just think that the context buildings are a little weak and flat. The directional glows seem to be coming out in an unnatural direction.

Camera choice doesn't seem well composed. A much taller sky would accentuate the verticality. It also needs a sense of atmospheric perspective. Creative textures make up for lack of detail in model. It seems more like a frame than a constructed still.
