Default Vinyl siding

Hey all,

Does anyone have a good horizontal vinyl siding bump or texture they are willing to share/trade? I'm having problems finding anything worthy of use and have yet to find vinyl siding on my 3DW texture discs.

Help would be MUCH appreciated.

If you are seeing it from a distance then a bump map would be fine. But up close, I would advice modelinh the siding unless its some flush system.

Alternatively, displacement would work, too.

If you wanted a vinyl bump, you could always turn a gradient on its side and tile. Add woodgrain textures to the gradient with adjusted output levels if you want a textured bump, but like Ernest said, if you're close enough to see the texture of the siding, you'll want to model it. Sucks but it makes a huge difference.
