Bionatics launches EASYnat for ADT

Press Release

Bionatics launches EASYnat for Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004, a revolutionary plant simulation software.

Bionatics announces the immediate release of EASYnat for Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004. Completely integrated into ADT 2004, EASYnat allows the user to easily and rapidly generate photo-realistic plants or trees in 2D or 3D within an ADT template. EASYnat’s ergonomic interface is project orientated and therefore very simple to use. EASYnat has over 300 virtually living plants with infinite variations for each !

State of the art technology. Bionatics’ plant simulation and modeling technology is a revolution for architects, a never before seen approach that will change plant modeling in virtual scenes. With virtual seeds having an expression of the genetic coding of its real-life counter part actually embedded into it, EASYnat plants and trees may be aged and have their seasons changed to the user’s discretion while respecting a perfect botanic coherence. Set the height or diameter of the tree in ADT and EASYnat will automatically calculate its age ! View the tree at any age in any season.

An investment that pays itself off. The user no longer has to rely on one model, he may now generate an infinite number of unique species from one virtual seed readily available for download and immediate use from Bionatics’ website and have them evolve over time. Simply drop and drag a 2D EASYnat traced plant symbol into an Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004 scene, launch Autodesk VIZ Render and through automatic association, EASYnat generates a photo-realistic 3D plant.

Low polygon count modeling. Have EASYnat ADT generate the tree in 2D, 3D or by using Bionatics’ exclusive hybrid mode that actually combines 3D geometry with procedurally generated 2D billboards for optimized polygon count and maximum realism. These simulation options optimize memory consumption and allow for a maximum display of plants in a scene.

“Most everyone uses the same tool and just about every rendered project has that same look because of the foliage. But with EASYnat, you can get a whole forest of unique trees. It has detail when you need detail. You can get shots where trees in the foreground look stunning. So as far as being a valuable tool that will set your project apart from everyone else, EASYnat is fantastic,” said Chris Bullen, SSE Architecture.

To get your version of EASYnat ADT, simply download the basic version and receive four plants (unlimited procedural variations of each). To add to your plant nursery, simply purchase and download virtual seeds from Bionatics. With over 300 diverse plants and trees from around in the world in an ever-expanding on-line plant library, Bionatics’ is dedicated to bringing the very best of plant simulation and modeling to Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004.

Price and availability
EASYnat for Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004 is available for download with 4 plants (1 tree, 1 pine, 1 bush, 1 flower). Purchase additional plants and trees on-line to supplement the plant nursery. Virtual seeds are priced at $60 per seed with reductions on a plant packages. Bulk purchases of 10 to 300 plants are entitled to a 20% to 80% reduction.
