Nice! I was experimenting with translucent leaves in MR recently. Here are the settings that I found work best with MR sun/sky (thanks Jeff Patton): [ATTACH=CONFIG]45800[/ATTACH]

Thanks guys. Render time was about 6 hours on 3 x quad core pc's. Every leaf and grass has a translucent material on it. The 3d modelled people are from http://www.axyz-design.com/. 3d people can be hit or miss. But i do like them because of the little photoshop work. Sometimes budgets and time doesn't allow for photoshop work. Which is a shame because that can be the fun stuff.

Very well done!!! Where did you get the people? Are they rpcs? I think the more you do in 3d the better, though the advantages of compositing are also very beneficial!

Nice render!!! I really like the composition of the image and your use of light. Well done. How long were your render times with such a large image?

This is a marketing render that will be used as a billboard to be displayed on site. Recently we have completely changed the way we create our high-end 3d marketing renders, our workflow and a 'swag' of little tools that we have customised to make life a little easier! In this image, everything except the sky.... is 3D! The only two things done in Photoshop are, the added sky and a little colour correction. It's the largest resolution image we've ever rendered (10,000 pixels wide, usually we render, at most 5000 pixels).
