Wish you have more nice renderings in 2012!
Thank you Helen, (I assume, this is your name :-) This is a one very valuable wish for me.. Thank you and wish you luck also. :-)
Thank you Shawn, Actually the stone floor can be seamless. It just matched with the grains running. It's usual process to laid the stone flooring. So actually what you are watching is the tiled stone floor :-) without any visible seam, not a large sized stone. Yes you are right about the hotspot at the ceiling, but because we are using only the candle lights and cove lights for lighting this scene, we need to give it much exposure, and maybe because of the exposure the hot spots occurs. This is the same concept behind the darker furniture. even I do not think that only with candle lights we could get to see so much detail. But yes increasing the reflect of wood surely make this image better. Although IMHO the flares in any photograph is happens because of the camera filters, which can be subtle or harsh depending on the filter characteristics. But may be you are right, they can be of reduced intensity. Anyway thanks for your valuable suggestions. :-)
You have a good start here. Some things that stand out to me: The floor scale seems to be a little big and there are no break lines. I am not an expert on Marble flooring but that is one big piece of Marble. The candles seem to be projecting way too much light to the ceiling, which is giving weird hotspots. Also I don't think candle flames will give such intense lense flares. If you want flares I would move them up to the can lights and reduce their intensity. the chairs seem to lose detail. I would bump up the reflect on wood trim and tweak the felt to give more definition. I hope this helps.
Great job on the night shot.
Thank you Cain, :)
Nice
Thanks Robert.
