Eskew Dumez Ripple designed a welcome center for the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a sloped roof and sunken central courtyard. Situated between a forest, wetlands and a garden, the architecture opens up to its surroundings, establishing a contemplative retreat to nature.
In communicating the synergies between the structure and the environment, we opted for moods that best highlight the green areas, enveloped by the qualities of the building.
