Interior design for a compact apartment in Nice, France
This project focuses on creating a light, cohesive space within a small footprint. The layout combines kitchen, dining, and living areas into a single open-plan environment, with each zone subtly defined through form, material, and lighting.
A calm, neutral palette is paired with natural textures—light wood, soft fabrics, and marble surfaces—adding depth without overwhelming the space. Custom built-in elements provide storage while maintaining clean lines and visual openness.
Furnishings are scaled to suit the compact layout: a curved sofa anchors the living area, while soft-edged dining pieces maintain flow. Decorative elements are minimal, allowing the materials and forms to take the lead.
Lighting is used both functionally and atmospherically, with warm tones and soft diffusion to enhance comfort and spatial clarity. The overall result is a quiet, refined interior—tailored for everyday living, without excess.
