Hi Howe. Few comments. It's quite evenly lit, I guess you've matched it to the sun, but I feel a little the LHS of the building could be darkened a bit, to define the corner. If it were me, I'd paint the two cars out of the foreground, it's a lot more work, but I can't even see the base of the building at any point along the facade. Likewise I'd take out the telegraph pole, it's right in the centre of the image, and is very distracting. The palm tree looks sick also, I'd replace with something fuller. The building also seems to be sitting forward of the adjacent building on the right hand side, this may be correct, but it looks off to me. Lastly the glass could use some defining, particularly on the left hand side, it's disappearing into the sky. Out of interest Howe, who are you working for in Sydney?
Thanks for the comments :) It's good to have other eyes spot inconsistencies. Actually the cars turned out to be a useful cover-up for the underside of the building which I had not detailed yet :). You are right about the palm tree I wanted to get rid of it as well. But the image was created for development approval purposes and not really for marketing, so everything had to stay exactly where it was.
A couple more things I will add... It appears that the photograph has been processed in a way that the CGI has not... The blacks are very dark and the blue stands out a lot... whereas the CGI does not have the same feel. I also noticed the cityscape in the background seems to cut off very abruptly to the left of your CGI building.
