We used this simple minimalistic form as a main referenec for architecture study.
The main goal was to achieve satisfying to the eye images in specific environment situations.
Another point of agenda was to focus on architecture and environment itself. Without annoying storytelling.

This project was done as part of the SOA Masterclass #49. The building by Jacobsen Arquitetura was realized in Brazil and photographed by Fernando Guerra | FG+SG. These pictures where taken as inspiration in the course to recreate the CGI versions, as well as some new viewpoints and lighting.

At Alba, attention has been given to every detail, including how the unique shape of the building plays into the sightlines and views. The curvilinear form of the tower has created rounded spaces within the suites, which allow for captivating vistas from sunrise to sunset.

In an international competition to design the Shenzhen Opera House, Zoboki Design & Architecture proposed a building that stands on the seafront of Shenzhen, creating a gateway to the sea – and allegorically, to the economic and cultural enhancement of the city. With our visuals, we aimed for an otherworldly feel, where the opera house blends in with the cityscape and the ripples of the sea and creates a space for cathartic artistic expressions.
