19XX, a scientist, Doctor Nagano discovers in his laboratory in Osaka the "Saisei" (再生). A molecule that can regenerate cells and thus give eternal life to whoever consumes it. Knowing the importance of his discovery, he made an announcement to the Japanese Academy of Sciences (ASJ) which saw in this molecule the dangerousness of such a discovery. Thanks to an alliance with the army, the ASJ created a secret organization (Saisei Secret) in order to eliminate all traces of the research of Doctor Nagano in agreement with the scientist. After many failures in trying to destroy the (Test) tablets of 再生, it was decided to seal them in a mausoleum. Taking advantage of a nuclear disaster, a team of scientists begins construction of the mausoleum on an abandoned island off the coast of Sendai in Japan. Recent research had found important properties of resistance to heat and radioactivity of alabaster, which makes it an ideal material for the realization of the structure. The construction of the building lasted only 3 days with the help of military equipment.

It took a year after the end of this event to see the Ikarugas (large beak in Japanese) emerged. These simple-looking structures are the conclusion of research by several researchers. Indeed, these "doors" are composed of a secret alloy. Connected to each other, they create a zone (no man's land) which contains radioactivity and concentrates extreme heat, but stopping the radioactivity outside this zone. The two cumulative effects make it possible to make the island inaccessible but also non-photographic, nor analyzable. The organization erected 3 gates (the Tanhäuser Gate to the west, the Ishtar Gate to the south and the Snow Gate to the north) thus creating the Ikarugas triangle and in the center of this triangle is the mausoleum of alabaster. 150 years later, no one knows why these monoliths were erected, but due to the heat emitted by the Ikarugas, the Tanhäuser gate is the favorite fishing spot of the inhabitants of the region. These warm and calm waters attract many rare fish.

▪️Architecture is exactly what characterizes these concepts in the first place. It is important for people to feel protected and comfortable, this is due to ancient times.

▪️Therefore, even when the development of technology is at a high level, these rules apply in the first place. But at the same time there is aesthetics, it is something that combines technology and basic principles for man, in something extraordinary. This is what gives the feeling of something high and pleasant. Because the ultimate goal of a person is to feel good.

▪️In this project I wanted to show how in the modern world you can combine architecture, nature and man and at the same time maintain comfort, shelter and technology development, combining all this in an aesthetic form.

▪️The cylindrical shape of the house allows you to see nature and enjoy it 360 degrees, while having all the functionality of the building. I want to add that in terms of positive energy, this shape of the building is best suited, because it has no sharp corners, which has a great impact on people.

Project
The concept of a private house in the Scandinavian open spaces.
The house has a cylindrical shape, divided into 3 sectors: living room, bedroom, kitchen. The purpose of such a house is wide space and 360-degree visibility of nature.
The cylindrical shape has another meaning - that there are no sharp corners in the building. This carries an esoteric character, or rather positive energy, which primarily affects a person.

Minmud Ltd. - http://www.minmud.co.uk

Aerial view of the Tokyo National Olympic Stadium. Completed for Zaha Hadid Architects and JPN Sport as Tokyo's bid to host the 2020 Olympics.

This image formed the centre piece hero shot for a series depicting the clients design within the fabric of Tokyo. It was a challenging project that needed special attention to the way that the design integrated with the city. As no suitable aerial photography was available a basic 3D model of Tokyo was used as a starting point and then heavily developed.
The stadium itself was illustrated to the clients specification with the team at Minmud going to extra lengths to incorporate as much detail as possible in the limited time available.
The clients design was chosen by a panel chaired by Tadao Ando and including Norman Foster and Richard Rogers. The images were used worldwide in publications such as The Guardian, The Huffington Post, AJ and BD Magazine.
The stadium is to be completed for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
