Well done David!! Amazing work! Those models are very well done and I like the Perth sun light. What was the modelling and rendering time?

The higher aerials are actually all helicopter footage except for the land development, probably why it lloks so good ;) When its mid level and lower its all CG. All done in max, no city engine. Most of the road building and house placement is done manually. City engine is fine for background suberbs etc but we've found it difficult and time consuming to try to get exact details that the clients expect on their estate designs for these types of projects, so we build it all from the CAD data in max. David, PLEASE tell me how you created that massive sat mnap. Your horizon is perfect, and the level of detail incredible for such scale. Did you populate the houses with CityEngine? I've used EasyGoogle Maps Downloader, but it looks like shit compared to this.
