About Jeff Mottle

I am the CEO and owner of the leading online magazine for the architectural computer graphics industry – CGarchitect. I have over 14 years of experience in the architecture industry, 11 of which have been directly related to the architectural 3D computer graphics and design visualization industry. My roles have ranged from production visualization artist and technical director to business development and CEO.

Much of my career has been spent evangelizing the architectural visualization and design field. I regularly run industry competitions and industry awards, write editorial, perform market research and analysis and speak at events around the globe.

In addition to founding CGarchitect, I am also the co-founder of the CGschool, the only school to cater exclusively to architectural visualization professionals. My goal is to help educate the next generation visualization artists to ensure the continued growth of the industry for many years to come.

I have been involved in developing and speaking at conference around the world including: Mundos Digitales, IMAGINA, VisMasters DMVC, and the American Society for Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) conference. Many of my presentations are about the future of our industry and industry analysis, but I also dabble in color management instruction as well.
