Cubicspace Studios, creator of Thunder 3D Spatial Sound System for 3ds max & viz is releasing a new range of sound clips under the NoiseLibrary Essentials banner. Volume 1, available from November 1st, provides 1,500 original sound samples across 11 categories.

The sound clips are all sampled at 48KHz and provided in WAV format, the uncompressed industry standard. The collections are compatible with any PC Windows application.

NoiseLibrary Essentials is provided with a royalty-free, commercial-use license. Paul Markham of Cubicspace said " we were continually frustrated that other sound libraries restricted our use through non-commercial licenses - they required further payments if we wanted to use the sound clips for business purposes. NoiseLibrary Essentials is unbelievable value at £69, due to the commercial use license provided without any further charge."

NoiseLibrary is ideal for games developers to use in demos or their final releases. Marketing and promotional companies will find it the essential collection to liven up their PowerPoint presentations and the comprehensive range of sounds will bring architecture presentations to life.

The 1,500 sound samples are split into a range of categories including; Ambience, Hits & Scrapes, Sci-fi, animals, household, human, machinery, Sport, Ear Candy and Transport. The sound clips range from traffic noise to explosions, from guns and lasers to horses, from baseball to VW Beetles.

Markham stated further "the broad range of sounds ensures that users should be able to find just what they are looking for. Further Essentials collections will be made available soon to offer even greater choice."

The second product, Thunder Essentials Volume 1, provides 1,500 sound samples at 48KHz across 11 categories. Further volumes will follow during 2002. This product unusually comes with a royalty-free commercial-use license.
