VisMasters Announces the First Design Visualization Conference

VisMasters DVC to take place at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel on Friday August 4th, 2006

Lexington, Kentucky USA, April 28, 2006 – VisMasters today announced the first ever VisMasters Design Visualization Conference to take place at the historic Boston Park Plaza hotel on Friday August 4th, 2006.

The VisMasters Design Visualization Conference is a one day event focused on the business, art and technology of design visualization. Featuring speakers from some of the most prestigious and well know architectural and visualization firms, participants from all facets of the industry will find a new found appreciation for the art of visualization and insights into what lies ahead.

Conceived with professional visualization artists, architects, designers and students in mind, the conference ensures no one walks away empty handed. A full day of informative and inspiring sessions, a vendor showcase, user group events, networking opportunities, reception, industry awards ceremony and VisMasters after party, complete the first ever conference dedicated to the design visualization industry.

Nine speakers will be presenting during the conference including: James Balding (Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo), Ernest Burden III (Acme Digital), Lon Grohs (Neoscape), HsiaoLai Sean Mei (Scream!Point), Nils Norgren (Neoscape), Ronald M. Reim (Occulus), Martin Summers (Morphosis), James Vanderzande (SOM) and Jonathan Ward (NBBJ).

The conference will also include several user group events including Chaos Group’s V-Ray User Group Meeting as well as the 5th annual CGarchitect.com Architectural Visualization industry awards.

Registration

The cost for the full day conference is $325 US for early registration which lasts until May 31, 2006. Registrations after May 31 are priced and $375 US. On site registration will be available at a cost of $425 US space permitting.
