lost :thanks for for your comment
hi Ahmed, Maybe I'm crazy but 2 days for modeling all that and rendering, I think is great, anyway I agree lose the red car and the night shot is really cool. About the glass try using MR glass (solid geometry) from the templates and then play around with the settings and maybe put a map in the reflection!
Amhed, I don't have much experience with glass myself - do mostly interiors. Plus I use Vray. I'm sure you can find a lot of information in these forums if you just do a search in the search box above - "exterior glass" "reflective glass problems" etc. There is also a specific Mental Ray forum. If someone were to put a gun to my head and say "you have to do exterior glass in 15 minutes" I would put in the sky color in a gradient and show some of the clouds and just work with light and dark and saturation till it looked ok. Maybe some tree silouettes in the 2nd story. The side windows are passable but the center strip of glass looks like blue paint.
The night shot works well, but I agree lose the red car....
heni30 : thanks for your comment , i a agree with all i still have glass material problem with mental ray rendering , if u can help???? thanks again
thanks "think 3d" the environment of work here in Egypt is too bad , large Pressure , little time, so i think it is good enough too, thanks again
I think a large red car in the foreground is not a good idea. The glass in front looks a little flat - doesn't look reflective. The night scene is magical - you really nailed it. Tell the designer that he shouldn't be timid about using ornamentation. This minimalist approach to design is a bit passe.
You could do sth more in 2 days, but this is good enough too.
