Hi Jared Dont take things to personal. You post your work up for crits, so it will be crit. If there are mistakes they will be crit too. We all have deadlines, and know that not all of our images can be perfect. I have lots of work that just dont get the attention needed cause of deadlines. But still, if you post it up its only fair to be crit. The comments I feel were justified, maybe it's just because Prashant and abdullah are regularly posting and they are bound to critthe next image posted up. BUt that is what makes the forums great, is that we can learn. Even if someone's work is not as good as yours, they might stillhave valid points to take to heart. As long as the comments are fair, I have also been crit on things that Ifelt was unnecessary but after thinking about it, it was true. Your work looks good, so dont think they shooting you down, they might feel that fixing those errors might make for an Amazing cg! Ciao!

Did I need to say anything more? :-)
Kewl man, yes I am here for crits of course and am sorry for bursting out the way I did, I do accept crits and know with out a doubt it can only make your work better..The only reason for carrying on was becase you said its not nice which for me is uncalled for if you understand..That being said i am sorry and respect you as a artist thx man
Dont take my comment offended. I wanted to put some light on the point that you post your work for criticism and dont quite like to take advice and suggestions from others. Or I dont know if you post your work here only to take praise. if so then I am sorry. And if you want criticism then be patient and read what others say about your work. I dont want to put my work beside yours. that wont work. Our work is of two different style. But I would suggest you to review my work again to learn some lighting technique. may be I dont have that design skills or I lack quality from different aspect. you can criticize that area. I wont say, " oh there was a reason behind that". I will admit my fault and try to improve that part. I have almost 700 post here. let me know if I had been like this in any other post or thread. NO! I praised many others who have even worse quality work. but they posted for criticism and accepted others opinion. And here you are doing the opposite. you are posting your work. but as soon as someone pointed out your mistake then you are saying, " Oh, that is not a mistake; I did it intentionally." So I dont like to accept your statement and would love to point out that you should not have a mistake intentionally. But at the end if you dont like criticism then I am sorry. note that it does not matter to us what your client says. I remember when I was a novice (although I admit that I am still a beginner.) I did my first work for a US client and he says WOW/ Great. But his WOW did not make my work good. I laugh out loud when I remember that work. So please be friendly with us. dont say that we are dating. our views is the same as others in this forum. I treat people the way I would love to be treated. And thanks for the saying, "I've looked at both of your work and dont think iether of you have anything impressive". I believe one day I can make something impressive. :D.

Are the two of you dating??Cause its seems ever since my fist post here you have attacked my work, I'm easty going but not kewl to say the image doesnt look good..I've looked at both of your work and dont think iether of you have anything impressive, so it seems you look for fault in my work which most of the time is small instead of the "art".. The reason for 3D in the company I work for is not about how correct the model is its about capturing the clients eye, making them say wow!But thx anyway

This is not about texture. this is about UV mapping. being honest the render is not really coming good in my sight. its all about many models. (i.e detail interior props). So that makes the glasses look good. but at the end the lighting is in a generic quality you should work on prasant's comment to take it to the next level. and off course still a lot to do.

yep know bout the curtain and tree thx.. the lighting slit is like that we do it in all our projects they use led strip lighting..The lights at the back are actually chrome lamps so its reflecting the wallpaper and the other isnt on its just at a angle reflecting the outside light.I know bout the texture :( its the actuall fabric being used it was a terrible map sent to me, not much I can do bout that..Thx bud

Nice render Jared. Few things which I want to point out. 1. the thread holding the curtain is dissolving in the wall as well as the curtain at the bottom (and at the top). IMHO this should be take care of in this case and POV. 2. Same thing happening with the palm. 3. The chair texture is looking a little odd.. may be because of repeating the texture or the texture is not seamlessly applied. 4. What is happening with the lamps at the end? I can't figure it out how the left one is merging with the back ground and the right one is seems like half lit up? 5. As usual the end spot lights :-) they can not be placed in that thin slit at the roof.
