A project I did to test how realistic I could depict nature, and explore new techniques in doing so.
There are only two photographic textures in the scene, the wooden cladding, and the underlying bark chippings (beneath my bark chippings particles system).
Modeled in Blender, rendered in Cycles, with post production in GIMP.
