Hey all, thought I'd post my latest work for some critique.
I faced a few challenges here but wanted to really try and produce the best work I could.
Firstly, the building was an absolute pain in the butt to model. While it doesn't look it from the render, the whole envelope is curved, and has a fairly complex roofplan. Add to this the many changes in level on the landscaping and it was a stressful experience for an amateur like me.
Also, I had a hard time making white render look much more exciting than white render. The client wanted a representation of it looking fresh and new, but I had to dirty it up just a little to get it looking somewhat more realistic.
The far right edge is just left in shot since there is further landscaping to be confirmed later, which is why it looks a bit like it should've been cropped out.
Finally, I'm not entirely happy with the black material on the window framing but having done nothing but mess with glossy reflections and wait for them to render for the last couple of days, I'm calling it done.
