I'm guessing he means to add a curves adjustment in PS to add some more contrast to shadows/highlights. Nice shot overall and I always love shiney reflective floors. The janitor must have just finished up buffering that bad boy! He really took his time in there :) Some personality would help this a bit I think.. like adding some foot print smudges or a little bit of imperfection to the metal elevators... maybe some little kid handprint smudges on the elevator doors.. Not sure if kids would be common place in this building.. but might be interesting. Technically I'd tone down the light reflection in the floor... it's reading much stronger than the actual light in the recess cove beyond. If anything the reflected light would be a lot less strong. Joseph this is a nice image. I suggest to curve the shadows and lights in order to give more depth and certainly remove the lights glow.
