HI George Yes, I also think the base photo is way too distorted for the purpose, but it is handpicked from a couple provided by the professional photographer. We decide not to touch it, and cropping out those existing trees are a pain. Personally I would love a more non-distorted image.

Looks great. I would take artistic license (seems doable) and straighten out the street sign pole and trees on the right or make them less extreme. Also, that utilitarian bldg on the left is really distracting. Again. I would take some artistic license and put some vegetation in front of it and tone down the white. I think there is too much street in the foreground. If I were the client I would want more building and less asphalt.
