The magnificent, crumbling, victorian-pile in south-west London is a gem. The ecology gallery features a infinte-mirror display, making it seem like you are staring at a massive floating sphere of screens. It had a big impact on me whenever I visited as a child. As you get older, you start to appreciate the architecture, including the clever and sensitive way it has been modernised and extended. Not every project in London is so carefully executed, which is to all our detriment.
I started the image on a whim, I haven't reproduced the exact gothic-moldings and crowning, instead using a mixture of new and existing models.
