excellent post production
Nice work, I do like the mood of the pictures. Postproduction work look very artistic and I like the style of the images. But as for me there is some disproportion in scales between the architecture and entourage. People seems to be not in scale in some places. What is the utilization sphere of this building and it would be very interesting to see the plans of this building, are they available somewhere in online?
Imho, the fourth image is a real rocking beauty. Wonderful painterly look. Great work! I also find the second image impressive. What a mood ,-) rgds, Nisus
Hey thanks for the comments. I did this project a few years ago now, I have just put them online as I have re-worked them in post recently...! Basically there isn't much to say about the setup... Its made in max 2008 with mental ray... I used a mental ray daylight system for the lighting in all of the shots, with additional omni lights inside the 'sacks' for the night shot...! The renders were basic as i knew i was going to work heavily in post for the stylized effect...! Loads of textures were used in post, and loads of grading. If i could find the original renders I would put them up but I cant...! :( Paul.
Wow! I love the first image with all the detail & moodiness!
Wow!!! Great work!!!!! It looks really nice, same as Nati, can you say what you did and how you did it? I'd love to check that out!

Hey Paul, Great work! Can you give us maybe a short brief on the work process. you dont see many renderings done these days in Mental Ray. so it'll be interesting to hear about your workflow ( if you have a bit of spare time .. ) Cheers

Nice job!
Thanks for this nice picture. i cann't understand what the theme of this picture
Thanks a lot, this was done when i was learning rendering, but was a fun project, rendered in mental ray with a great deal of post work... the main image is made up from 4 renders and stitched together to create the 180 degree perspective...!
Such a nice feel and style. Crazy design as well :) well done.
The warm picture (fourth in gallery) has fantastic atmosphere. Congratulations!
