I would suggest adding shadows under the people... they are floating right now. I 2nd what Martin said; tone down the lighting on the plants and bring focus back to the main entrance.

First thing my eye focuses on are the red and green bushes. Because the bright green and the strong lights it becomes very important. I'm sure your client did not ask you "can you make a rendering that focuses on some plants?" Same thing goes for the 2 people on the right of the image. Other humans, are the first thing people automatically look at, so you do not want to place them in area's that are not important. Because of the white text, I now understand it is the entrance of a university campus, but at first glance it looks weird. (like the entrance of a huge building that is not finished yet) Maybe a bit more of a top view would make it clear that the road continues behind the portal. Hope this helps you
