The greatest challenge on this project was to build a roof. I could've easily textured it with a bump map, that would be the efficient and simple process. However I knew I wanted to use geometry as I may animate it later on with close camera angles. The roof tile is actually individual geometry each tile is a particle, and using a custom particle system I was able to place each tile following the curve of the roof. I then used the same method to clad the lower half. I also modeled the blades of grass and the sloping tile on the patio. I can't say it is my "Dream House" because I have so many I could never choose just one. I hope you like it, I loved creating it.
