i like it so much and i also want to make some exteriors like this. i want to learn from you. plz help me.

well, in my opinion, u have to study about material mapping first. How they look and react to light. there is tones of tutorials in youtube ( im not sure with mental ray coz im not using it). please spend some of your time to study them. good luck! regards, muck

Yes, i make it a habit to observe real world lighting, color, shadows. I am still learning and not as good as some of the others here but its helped me graduate to a higher level of realism and emotional content. You see once you see in your head exactly what you want to see then you go about the rendering and post rendering process to bring that into reality. :)
