Unrelated to the images, but how about a caption " You gotta SKI this!" perhaps to obvious of a play on words? Nice work!

Good images Russell. I recommend to add a little more darkness to the shadows of the buidings because now these seem a little fake.

The snow is modeled geometry with a mental ray material and up close/foreground a snow dune/drift image was faded into the rendering to give some variation in post production.

Red Mountain

Proposed project located at Canada's Red Mountain ski resort. A variety of luxury pre-manufactured winter cabins are to be sold off to winter sports aficionados at picturesque locations. The challenge was to showcase the spirit of the proposed development.

My first winter scene, a new experience for me, lack of winter entourage and time restraints hindered the project, but clients liked the end results.
