Why is the car up on the sidewalk?
it's how some of us park here in the UK :) In Germany I'm guessing it has something to do with ultra efficiency ;)
Links to the uncompressed image is appreciated. as CGA reduces your image quality to reduce file size after you post it here.
Well first of all thanks for the comments, I will try to add some VRay Dirt to pimp the walls corners and post the new results here then... The trees are from Evermotion, I just tweaked some of the textures for the leaves and the branches.... couldnt get my GrowFX working so I had to use some premade foliage.... And yes - here in Germany when you wanna park your car and there are no signs on the road telling you where you can do so, you are advised to park it on the sidewalk... especially since the road in this picture is pretty narrow ;)
Did you use a plugin in 3dsmax for the trees? They look awesome
Looks good overall. After a harder look I noticed a repeating texture pattern on your right wall in the first image. Also I think the textures are a little too bumpy for my liking but that's just my preference. Also, the rooftop and gabled windows look a little less real than the rest of the building, looks like you skipped adding a material to the roof tiles and window trims. You cool probably add a little noise in photoshop to fix that. Just another thought about the textures on the exterior walls; if you look at similar buildings in the real world, you'll see that the walls show some weathering usually around the corners and the base, adding that to this image would really bring it up a notch. That being said, I love the images, they have a nice feel to them. @steyin - I think the car is on the sidewalk cause the roads in that country are too narrow and that's where they have to park... just a guess

Hi. Really great work. In this image, I think the hedges are too saturated. The roof needs some kind of displacement or bump. The cage of the windows are made of copper? They look wired. Also, under the car you have a sharp shadow while overall you have soft shadows suggesting maybe a cloudy day or an after sunset. The modeling looks smashing. Great work. Good luck.
