A little trick I always like to do is to take an image of a cloudy sky and place it upon the glass to 'create' a subtle reflection. I also agree with Daniel, just need to tweek the orientation of the photo, if you arn't going to get a new one that is.
Hi Alex, I note according to your location you're in Leeds and I pass this house on my way to work on a morning, on the outskirts of Leeds.
For what it is, looks good. I would apply same touchups to the original image as the proposed. Installing solar will not change the colour of the bricks... I would also remove all signs of google controls At the end of the day the result needs to be able to achieve the communication that the client wants inside there budget. There would be no way to get me driving 100 miles for one photo. This is a practical solution that gets a result. Was the client happy enought to come back? Then you have done well
it's a shame you weren't prepared to drive to source a better photo. for £50 in petrol your image could have looked infinitely better. as a side note - does your client have permission from google to use that image?
was responding to this part of the sentence very lightly, "if im asked again" you could also removed the google print on the image and the pan tool at top left, also the solar panel sharpness is way better you could blur it alittle to fit in better or blur perimeter to blend it in a bit.
If you read what i put its what the guy who paid me gave me, Im not driving nearly 400miles for it -
work on the photo itself the vertical walls arnt vertical remove the rubbish on the ground. actually go take a photo dont use google maps.
