Aaron, There are a few treads here adressing "Kalwall". This one for example . Not specifically for Vray but may be helpful. I'm just now getting into these sss and translucent materials so, sorry I do not have a how to answer yet...

I'm sorry if my wording confused anybody. The documentation for the SSS material confuses me, not for the kalwall. What variable do I change to let more light through?
It is picture 1 of 12 in the fellow's portfolio.
In researching, came across a 3D representation of the mat; http://shownd.com/roco/287/3D-Visualisation
http://www.kalwall.comhere is a google image search for the kalwall product at night: http://www.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&biw=1345&bih=664&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=kalwall+night&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= Also, thanks for the links for the exterior shots. I wasn't looking for a night shot as much as a was the time of day where there is still some daylight, but interior lights are certainly visible. perhaps my scene is a bit bright. Aaron
Post some information on the material and then we can help... I think you need to study some images of scenes at dusk more... http://www.google.ca/images?hl=en&source=imghp&biw=1680&bih=869&q=city+dusk&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=g1g-m1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= http://www.mir.no/#/projects http://www.luxigon.fr/
Aaron, If it is a commercial of the shelf material or if you can disclose, show the documentation or parts thereof. There is always someone looking for a challenge and to also help a fellow out.
