Those are going to look real sweet once you render in a higher quality.
Here are a few detail shots (low quality):
Thanx Aubrey. Never used the relax modifier. I'll give it a shot.
Starting to look real cozy.
Almost there:
Nice lighting Antoine. For cushions I also like to use the relax modifier. Don't forget to use the ffd on the top of the cushion a little more. The throw pillows are great :) Better get some better book cover textures though :) I have a few squirreled away if you want some. You can find some good ones through Bing or Google as well.

Just a bump or displacement texture and seams for the fabric. Maybe half to a fourth 'lumpier'. Fine project, looking forwards to its progress.
thanx Justin. Fran's just so good at the plush look.. its ridiculous.
check out Frans "Make it Puffy" tutorial http://surrealstructures.com/blog/ Also google Viscorbel, they have some great furniture modeling tutorials, I've learnt a few things from watching them jhv
Here's a scan of the reference photo.. As you can see, I still have quite a bit of entourage to model for this scene.
Update: Made the couch "lumpier" by subdividing > ffd(box) > push pull > turbosmooth
